Conceptually, this album started to take form in 2019. The year 2019 was professionally and personally, one of the best years of my life. At its climax, I started to realize my ability to finally 'let go! My decision making had transitioned from 50% head, 50% heart, to 80% heart, 20% head. This Benjamin Button-like reverse in mentality came at the realization that even with my greatest efforts, some things in my life were not completely in my control. Life is truly walk by faith, not by sight.

This is hard to admit from a 'grab life by the throat, carpe diem, muthafucka such as myself. Even as someone that believes in a higher power. But this actually is not a bad thing in life. As another lesson l've also learned time and time again is, sometimes the real outcome of our plans is even better than what we originally envisioned.

It's because at times, we don't make room for the MAGIC. The MAGIC is the spark of our greatest moments, our wildest imaginations, and help form the people we become. There are times in life we feel if we had lost some of this MAGIC. But it's not that we have abandoned it, it just morphs into different energies and entities in various eras of our lives.

We can't go back to a good time in our life, but we should always keep the energy of it at all times. I spent a whole decade chasing 'the MAGIC! When in actuality, it was always there; just in a new form. I had to make peace with my past and recognize where the MAGIC now lived.

It is absolutely necessary that in everything, professionally, personally, romantically, for every peak and valley life throws at you, YOU MUST LEAVE ROOM FOR THE MAGIC!

Now more than ever, even in the midst of the madness, we must make MAGIC."
